When will my sword ship?
Allow 1-2 business days for a product to ship. If ordered in the early morning, products may ship that day. The majority of products ship the next business day, while a very small number may take two.

What if I receive the wrong sword, or my sword is damaged upon delivery?
If this happens, do not fret! Contact us immediately by phone or email (it is IMPORTANT that this must be done within 7 days of receiving the package). CAS Hanwei will supply us with a UPS shipping label so that you can send the damaged/mis-packaged sword back to the warehouse for a replacement.

Do the products have a warranty?
All CAS Hanwei products have a one year warranty against manufacturer defects. If your sword contains any defects, contact us immediately so that we can start the claims process.

Hanwei has a unique production cycle that blends traditional sword forging with modern metallurgy techniques. This is why Hanwei is able to offer superior quality for reasonable prices. Many swordsmiths charge thousands of dollars for their custom work; Hanwei offers the same value for a fraction of the price.

I can get a sword for under $100 elsewhere
Many generic imports, movie and fantasy sword reproductions featured on other websites and stores aren't nearly on the same level as Hanwei swords, and certainly aren't qualified for professional use. If it's quality and security from a reputable company you are after, shop with us.

Is it safe to shop on this site?
Of course. We utilize Paypal as our payment gateway so we never have to store, or even see your credit card information. All private information including name, address, and other contact information will be shared with CAS Hanwei only to the extent that is needed to conduct business.

What about refunds?
Paypal utilizes a simple refund system. All refunds will be re-issued to the credit card or account that you used to make the payment.

What's up with the catalog you sent me?
The catalog is published by our partner CAS Hanwei, the primary U.S. distributor of Hanwei products. Every product in that catalog is available to our customers.

Your site doesn't have a product I see in the catalog
We sell every product listed in the CAS Hanwei catalog. If there is a product we don't have listed on the site, send your special request to orders@swordwares.com.

Can I purchase directly from CAS Hanwei?
No. CAS Hanwei uses authorized dealers and partners as their customer gateway.

Do you ship to Canada?
Businesses are taking a huge risk when shipping live blades to Canada. Many of these businesses waiver liability onto the customer in the event that a product is siezed by customs. It is for this reason that we do not currently ship to Canada. We warn customers to always check the terms and conditions on a website before making a purchase anywhere.

When will I get my product?
With specialized products such as the ones we sell, it's sometimes hard to give a timeframe. The distribution center keeps a large stock of inventory on popular products. Other products will be manufactured upon order, in which case, there may be a 6 to 8 week turn around.

As an authorized partner of CAS Hanwei, our products ship directly from the primary U.S. distribution facility in Tennessee, therefore falling under the protective warranty and shipping policies set forth by them.
